I can\u2019t browse articles edgy enough<br \/>\nto mutter \u2018fuck\u2019 and \u2018life drawing\u2019 comes up blank but<br \/>\na search for \u2018mature cheddar\u2019 presses buttons I\u2019d rather<br \/>\nnot have to go figure, though even I can understand<br \/>\nan obvious failure to stomach \u2018chicken breasts\u2019 cooked,<br \/>\nraw, or \u2018other\u2019, and the poems you sent are barred<br \/>\nbecause I hope they\u2019re bad. A pissy note left somewhere<br \/>\nfor you to \u2018be more accessible\u2019 goes missing under searches<br \/>\naround the region of \u2018shoes for men\u2019; not \u2018young men\u2019, not \u201818-25\u2019,<br \/>\nthen, as if I was about to type inches, it got me again.<\/p>\n<p>Please send me the word documents with an empty header<br \/>\nelse it\u2019s all white boxes where you mean to put the letters.<br \/>\nI stress, I am not angry I am just merely out of options.<br \/>\nIf you will take it personally, try a grounded flight to \u2018Bra<br \/>\nzil\u2019 and remember to include the space this time.<br \/>\nSeriously, I would bear in mind your audience not your style,<br \/>\nthis time I will be reading with my contrast turned down;<br \/>\nI am so sick of all your sore thumbs, you hack.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h4>Two Step<\/h4>\n<p>Men dancing upside down,<br \/>\non the roof of the music hall above <em>The Grapes<\/em>.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s what I heard;<br \/>\nmen dancing upside down in a pub without radiators.<br \/>\nHow do they hold their drinks, or keep their wallets<br \/>\nfrom falling out I asked. No,<br \/>\nhe says, they leave them by the door<br \/>\nwith the line of girls who are bored of men<br \/>\ndancing upside down without so much as asking<br \/>\nif it would be an inconvenience, and the band<br \/>\nare playing on their side, and the barman<br \/>\nis pouring Cointreau neat into smoky glasses.<br \/>\nThere isn\u2019t even a dog outdoors<br \/>\nthat\u2019s not growling at the tinny sound<br \/>\nupstairs, through the open windows.<br \/>\nNow like an oracle I sat in the chair with the broken slats,<br \/>\nlike my bed at home which folds into the wall.<br \/>\nI sleep on the floor when I roll in,<br \/>\nin the morning I wake up with my face on the door.<br \/>\nWhat a great time in my life this was what a great<br \/>\nvision I had seen on the roof of my flat,<br \/>\nwith its plaster cracks and orange stains and sighs, oh<br \/>\nthe whole place is sighing around me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h4>Lodged<\/h4>\n<p>Calling from a country house there the rain was clear and sharp and old,<br \/>\nlike the people I came from who have their boots here, they walk the red clay here.<br \/>\nThere is sickly sweet singing somewhere close, the pub is dark, the roads hidden by<br \/>\na mess of wire wrapping round fenceposts and animals, the ghosts of animals.<br \/>\nDogs from twenty years ago still wander the lanes. I saw a man today<br \/>\nwho had a skull but no neck; I heard another crying like threatened geese.<br \/>\nI got all this down and then the rain drove me in, I tapped this deep wire to call out<br \/>\nto a real place, to scream that I don\u2019t mind sleep but the morning here<br \/>\nis the kind that kills me awake so if I disappear, and you do not come knocking,<br \/>\nI won\u2019t be in the softened earth, I will not be quietly lying in a redone kitchen<br \/>\nor staring wild-eyed from the windows of a snug, I\u2019ll have vanished cleanly<br \/>\naway, though I beg you, please, keep the back door unlocked.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Search History I can\u2019t read properly at work, I can\u2019t shop productively as \u2018adult bike\u2019 brings pornography.
