Day 1<\/span><\/h1>\n

My name is Armaan Shahzad and it is the 23<\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup> of March 2020. The beginning of the year has been horrible: both Australia and Brazil caught fire, Kobe Bryant died and there were rumours of WW3. Just to make life easier, a lethal disease called \u201c<\/span>COVID-19\u201d <\/i><\/span>decided that now was a great time to kill a bunch of people. This caused the world to enter a global lockdown where no one could leave their homes. cue the insanity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 92 (today)<\/span><\/h1>\n

\u201cI now give you this crown sir Armaan Shahzad of the bed for your sincere bravery in saving the princess from the evil clutches of count alarm\u201d presented the king of sleepy town.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNot so fast!\u201d screeched a voice as everyone at the ceremony looked up. It was count alarm. I tried to grab my pillow sword, but the count\u2019s \u201cbeeping\u201d caught me of guard.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!\u201d it went as I woke up.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, come on!\u201d I exclaimed out loud as I threw my still beeping alarm to the ground. It was wearing a paper cape and had two white fangs attached under the numbers- Something I did in day 24.<\/span><\/p>\n

I lethargically got out of bed and brushed my teeth. I checked the time, it was 9:48, I had about 1 hour and 18 minutes until I had to do my homework. 1 hour and 18 minutes until I resume life as a prisoner.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018About 5 minutes later\u2019<\/i><\/span> it was 10:55 I put on my <\/span>\u2018prison jumpsuit\u2019<\/i><\/span> and began my <\/span>\u2018prison labour\u2019<\/i><\/span>. I was given 5 hours\u2019 worth of English, Maths, Science, French, and Humanities. I sat and went through it all. Some of it is not even useful; how will Pythagoras\u2019 Theorem help me at all in the future. Its not like someone would hold me at gun point and ask me about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018About 73 hours later\u2019 it was 16:00. I now had 4 hours of <\/span>\u2018yard time\u2019<\/i><\/span>. Here I get to go outside for a while, <\/span>\u2018do some yard word work\u2019<\/i><\/span>, whatever keeps me entertained. One rule: No Technology. What is the point in buying a \u00a3400 console or a \u00a31000 TV if no ones allowed to use it? Just some of the questions science can never answer.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 hours later, I get 2 hours of <\/span>\u2018academic time\u2019<\/i><\/span> a fancy word for the time we can use technology. It only lasts 2 hours. Time is not helpful when it makes fun things last 5 mins.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u20182 minutes later\u2019<\/i><\/span> its 22:00 I read for about 45 mins and go to sleep at 22:45.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wake up. My head throbbing. I stood up, puzzled as I regained my senses. The rubble of the castle confused me at first, but then I remembered.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
